Why bother getting dressed?

Hello 3Z families,

Friday the 22nd of December is one of the shortest days of the year. It is also a half day of school, so….. Why bother getting dressed?

Please feel free to send your  child to school in their pajamas. We will be having a drop everything and read day. I am hoping to also include hot cocoa and popcorn as a treat.

If you are interested in donating milk, whipped cream, fresh fruit hot cups, bowls or microwave popcorn please let me know.

Scholastic book orders are coming home today. They need to be completed or returned by Monday December 4th.

Thursday at 2:00 the students will be reading their finished narratives during our celebration. I hope to see you all then!

What a Musical Class!!!!

Permission Needed

Our class finished reading the book Because of Winn Dixie. I would like to be able to show them the movie, however it is rated PG. I am asking that if you do not want your child to see this movie you let me know. I thought an opt out would be easier than permission slip.

I will be showing the movie as part of a reward for the class completing 1,000 Dreambox lessons. I would also like to be able to provide a snack. I was thinking of hot chocolate and popcorn. If for any reason your child can not partake please let me know and I will provide a different snack.
